Girls’ Attitudes Survey 2022
Every year Girlguiding asks over 3,000 girls and young women across the UK to tell them how they feel about their everyday lives – the result is the annual Girls’ Attitudes Survey. For the first time ever a Scotland snapshot of research has been published – check it out!
From the pressures they face and the issues they care about, the Girls’ Attitudes Survey give a snapshot of girls’ and young women’s’ lives. This Girlguiding research is supported by players of People’s Postcode Lottery.
Since 2009, Girlguiding has given girls and young women a platform to speak out on the issues that matter to them through the Girls’ Attitudes Survey. Now in its 14th year, this research asks girls and young women how they feel about their daily lives.
To delve deeper into these findings, Girlguiding has reported the Girls’ Attitudes Survey on a regional basis for the first time. The findings show girls and young women continue to be concerned about their studies, inequalities, and crucially, their mental health.
