Surpluses from our retail operations fund Girlguiding Scotland’s other activities including leader training and events for girls.
Our normal Edinburgh shop opening hours are Tuesday-Saturday 10am-4pm. Our online shop is available as always, as are our click & collect services so please feel free to shop with us that way. From new uniform and badges to stationery and gifts, stop by for all your guiding needs!
You can browse our online shop whenever, and place orders whenever you need. We will be process orders as soon as we can and you can also place orders via email or the phone – 0131 225 3483.
We will handle your mail or online order and any exchanges as speedily as possible. Remember our returns policy for refunds or exchanges, supported by a receipt, remains 28 days.
Surpluses from volunteer-run depots provide similar support to guiding in your local area. Guiding in Scotland gets no direct financial benefit from parents buying uniforms via local school outfitters or John Lewis – and their prices can be up to 20 per cent higher than ours. Friendly, knowledgeable and helpful volunteers are on hand to help. You can find out depot order form here.
Volunteer to run a depot
If you’re super-organised, business-minded and passionate about raising money to support guiding in your area, then setting up a depot could be for you.
Read our Girlguiding Scotland depot guidelines and T&Cs here for helpful guidance on how to set up and run a depot. You can find our depot application form here.
If you want to go ahead then contact us and ask to our Head of Retail Operations to discuss the process for setting up a depot in Scotland.
Our Edinburgh shop can come along to larger events to run a shop for the girls attending, with support from volunteers.
We can provide any of the products sold in our shops and can even work with you to source and sell goods designed especially for your event.
Please get in touch if you’d like to discuss having a shop at your event.
We can only sell registered ‘A’ goods such as interest and Promise badges to adult leaders. An active membership number must be provided when these are ordered online.
If we don’t already know you we may ask to see your membership card to check the number when buying these goods in the shops.
County commissioners, badge secretaries or advisers ordering registered ‘B’ goods for qualifications and awards and long service awards should contact the Edinburgh Guide shop. For Queen’s Guide or Chief Guide Challenge badges please get in touch.
