What, when, where and who for!
- What? An opportunity to learn the basics for taking your young members away on adventures, you don’t need to have any prior knowledge
- When? Thursday, 27 February 7.30-9pm
- Where? Virtually by Zoom
- Who is it for? This would benefit any volunteer who is thinking about taking their girls away for the first time

In this session you will:
- Briefing on the current going away with scheme
- Show you how to plan an overnight event, covering timescales and relevant forms
- Getting the correct team in place
- First aid, ensuring that you are inclusive, contingency plans and parent communication
This session is the first of series of sessions to support volunteers taking young members away, the others will include:
- Catering for a large group
- Taking it further – going away for more than 1 night (indoors)
- Going camping
You can choose to attend all of them or one that you feel would be most useful.
