As part of the Transformational Leadership Project, we’re inviting you to feedback on new resources to support unit volunteers to develop as a team, share and delegate tasks and streamline all aspects of unit planning (not just the programme!)  

We’ll be testing prototypes, creating new resources, and seeing what really works for unit teams. We want to hear your experiences and what will actually help you. We can’t get rid of the admin, but we can help make it seem less daunting.   

We want our volunteers to shape these resources so that they are practical for units to use. By taking part, you’ll: 

• Join us on our first prototype call on Monday 3 February at 6:30pm to see our existing prototypes, feedback on these, and tell us what else you would want to see.  

• Review and feedback on the updated prototypes in early March once we have implemented your earlier feedback. This time, we’ll be asking you to share your thoughts via email.    

• Be sent back to your units with the prototypes you’ve worked on to test for your summer term planning! After you’ve tried them out in practice, we’ll ask you to evaluate the resources so we can make sure they are the best they can be. 

Don’t worry if you’ve not done something like this before – there will be an experienced moderator leading the session to walk you through the process.

• Have your voice heard: Share what works and what doesn’t work for unit planning now, we want to hear from a diverse group of volunteers from a variety of backgrounds to ensure these resources can work for us all. 

• Shape the future: Be part of designing something unique that could benefit volunteers across the country. 

• Collaborate and connect: Work with a group of your peers to collectively design something that is fit for purpose and truly reflects what our volunteers need. 

• Earn a badge: Everyone who takes part in the Transformational Leadership Project will earn a new ‘I’m leading the future’ badge to reflect your contribution to shaping Girlguiding Scotland.
