There will be a range of pilot projects including new resources, events and communication campaigns. By March 2026, we’ll have identified which of these pilots are most effective in achieving our aims. Over the coming year, we’ll be running a variety of pilot projects, and are keen to have you involved! By taking part and telling us what you think of this work, we’ll be able to understand what’s working, what’s going less well and what needs to change.

Over the next few months we’ll also be talking more about commissioners on our social media channels to raise the profile of how important these roles are.
If you’re interested in taking part in one of the pilot projects, please fill in the relevant form on the event pages linked above.
We’ll be announcing more opportunities to get involved later in the year. Keep an eye on the Girlguiding Scotland events page, social media channels, @GirlguidingScot, and marketing emails for ways to be part of this exciting project. Everyone involved in the project will earn 1 of our new ‘I’m leading the future’ badges.

We will be hosting regular drop-ins for commissioners across the year – the first of these will be on Monday 27 January.
If you have any questions about the project, please get in touch by emailing hello@girlguiding-scot.org.uk.
